Gran Canaria Weather Report
It's going to be heaven in Devon this weekend and according to Weather.com it's even going to be hotter than Gran Canaria.
On Sunday it will mostly be sunny with temperatures reaching as high as 19 degrees (based on the weather forecast in Exeter), while in Gran Canaria temperatures will only reach 15 degrees.
In North Devon the weather will still be warmer than Gran Canaria, reaching 17 degrees and in Torquay the temperature will reach as high as 18 degrees.
Gran Canaria is located South East of Tenerife and West of Fuerteventura and it's a popular holiday destination especially throughout the winter months.
Although the weather will stay sunny and warm, there will be misery for allergy sufferers as the pollen count will be high.
From itchy eyes to sneezing fits and a continuous runny nose, there are plenty of side effects to the allergic reaction to pollen.
Pollen is a fine powder released by plants - tree pollen is released during spring, grass pollen is released during the end of spring and beginning of summer and weed pollen is released in late autumn. Pollen was first observed in rocks 120 milion years old.
